During the 50th anniversary of the legendary trophy Trofeo S.A.R. Princesa Sofía IBEROSTAR, Olympic sailors gathered for the first time to do something for a problem that threatens the human race, plastic pollution.
These artists of our Seas come across the problem on a daily basis. They have finally said enough! Starting by Yago Lange, Hannah Mills, and Iago Lopez-Marra, the movement grew big in a matter of minutes, soon after Kahena Kunze, Martine Soffiatti Grael, Atlantic Brugman, Cecilia Carranza, Santiago Lange, Basileia Carahaliou, Anne Marie Rindom, Louisa Chafee, Lisa Darmanin, Gemma Jones and many more, joined their initiatives. They're all very successful olympic sailors that come together at the International event in Mallorca, Spain.
Days before the event in 2019, ideas started to flow, the event organizers joined the cause and so did many other organizations and volunteers. The positive actions continued throwout other venues around the world. This is the only way we can reverse the damage caused, these sailors will leave a mark.
